If you need CPR training, you can find high-quality courses in all six of our American Training Locations providers. We offer them at the most affordable rates possible. All of the courses we offer are also certification courses, so you receive a training credential once you finish the program. Because credentials need to be renewed every two years, we also offer re-certification courses to our trainees. They are also available at various schedules throughout the week, the same as the other training programs.
Our provider websites have the complete list of available training courses, along with their respective rates and schedules. Our providers can be found in the following cities:
- Los Angeles, California
- San Francisco, California
- Honolulu, Hawaii
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Portland, Oregon
- Seattle, Washington
CPR Training Courses in the US
Our courses are categorized into Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. We often have one course for the general public and the rest are tailored for healthcare providers.
Basic Life Support
Basic Life Support training teaches students how to give basic CPR rescue to a victim of cardiac arrest before the arrival of medical help. Basic skills include compressions, rescue breaths, and defibrillation. First aid is also an integral part of Basic Life Support training.
- Heartsaver CPR/AED – 4 hrs.
- Heartsaver CPR/AED C – 4.5 hrs.
- Basic Life Support for HCPs – 4.5 hrs.
- Basic Life Support for HCPs re-certification – 4 hrs.
Advanced Life Support
Advanced Life Support training teaches students how to medically manage cardiac arrest. Medical management is done by healthcare professionals so both ALS programs can only be taken by HCPs.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support – 16 hrs.
- ACLS re-certification – 5 – 6 hrs.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support – 14 hrs.
- PALS re-certification – 6 – 8 hrs.
Re-certification classes are enrolled in by rescuers who want to renew their nearly expired certification. We do not allow rescuers whose certificates have expired to enroll in re-certification training; they have to take the training program again.
CPR credentials
Since all of the programs are certification courses, all of our trainees receive training credentials once they finish. The credentials are valid for 24 months; after which they have to be renewed through a re-certification class.
